Appellation : Côtes du Rhône north, right riverbank.
Grape varieties on the estate : Syrah for the red wine and Marsanne for the white.
Terrain : South and south-east facing granitic cirque.
Climate : Continental with Mediterranean influence.
Moderate yearly average rainfall.
Authorised yield : 40 hectolitres/hectare.
Cultivation : Privileging of natural regulation, with working of the soil.
Grape picking : Manual with parcel-by-parcel selective sorting.
Vinification : Destalking, fermentation in open wood vats with continual temperature checks.
During this 15–21 day period, the winemaker repeatedly works the must with punch-down and pump-over.
Maturing : In casks, "demi-muids” (oak barrels), or vats for 18 months.
The wine is bottled on the estate.
